Please remember that this is the final version of PGdebt and it will not be developed further. It will not be for sale after Autumn 2011, although existing users will be supported and can carry on using the program as usual after that date

NB.  PGdebt has not been tested extensively on 64bit versions of Windows 7, but several users are running it without problems

How to install this download...this is the full program.

NB.   Make sure you have a PG9 license key for every PC you wish to install PGdebt on. Without a licence key (e.g. PG9-ABCD-EFGH-01) this download is useless.

ATTEMPTING TO UPGRADE PG8 or earlier to PG9 without a valid PG9 license key will cause PG8 to be removed and PG9 will NOT be left in its place. You have been warned !

• You can only run PG9 on a PC which has Internet access every few days. PG9 is only suitable for networks where software can be loaded locally onto individual PCs. The program cannot be loaded on a server, though data may be on the server.
  
  
• Please download this file (pg9install.exe). You may be asked if you wish to run the file or save it. The choice is yours. If you save the file, when the download is complete, just locate the downloaded file and run it to install PG9
  
  
• If you are updating an existing installation of PG9 or upgrading any earlier version of PGdebt, do NOT delete anything. Just install 'over the top' of your existing setup so that existing settings are retained
  
  
• On the first run of PG9 you will be prompted to configure the licence. If you are asked to choose Standalone or Trial, always select STANDALONE. Do this even though you are setting up a network installation, (the program runs standalone on the PC), only the data is shared. You will be prompted to enter your licence key, if you had a previous PG9 trial or full installation, the previous key may be offered. If this is not offered, please put in the correct licence key. You will be asked to give a name and address on a first install. We will not pass these details to anyone else
  
  
• On a standalone PC you should not need to do anything else to run PGdebt, but on a network you will need to configure the program to look to the server for its data. Please see the Installation Manual for details of setting up a network installation. This manual is placed on your PC by the installation.
  
  
• On the first run you will need to fill in details on the pages: Options/supervisor/agency and options/supervisor/email. You will also need to get your CFS license number from Money Advice Trust if you intend to use the CFS for real cases. This is nothing to do with PG Computing Ltd. Click here to apply to MAT
  NB. If you find the number given by MAT is not saved by PGdebt, please add the letters "CFS" in front of it or add three zeros in front of it '000'. MAT have changed the format of their licence number to a format which is not retained by PG9 without these workarounds.
  
  
• There are some sample client files which can be deleted if you wish. The manual is available on your PC via an icon on the desktop as well as the Windows 'All Programs' menu. The program includes extensive help files and tutorials are available on this web site
